The Dark Naga were the Servitor breed of the Naga who followed the Dark Fiend. They were believed to have been extinct at the hands of their goodly counterpart by the end of the Primal Age until many centuries later when one assassinated The Lady of Shadows of the Demi-Pantheon, taking her powers and ascended to became The Night Serpent.

Hundreds of years later during the Prophets' War Arek obtained and corrupted a clutch of Naga eggs, raising his own Dark Naga.
