The Commentaries of Josaphalia are by far the most ancient of the Commentaries. It was Josaphalia who copied Alabar Tremaline's mad rantings and the first to offer analysis of them. As the first High Priest of the Pantheon, she focuses more on the historical than the prophetic, however, and is the main body of knowledge about the first times.

Her Commentary tells of the creation of the earth by the Old Gods, the corruption of their perfect creation by the Dark Fiend, and the war that lead to his imprisonment, the self-sacrifice of the Old Gods, and the rise of the Demigods to the heavens.
