The Nightmare - Banner
Dogmoot had gotten worse pretty much every day. I hate it here and I don't even know what to think about all that with Bobwhite and that creepy druid. I enjoyed the story time, but he had that druid way of talking like we should somehow just know what he meant instead of just saying it in simple words. I manage to start passing out even after that and the dark druid chanting shit that started. Then I'm waking up from hitting the ground like I had been falling from a wagon. And everything's all gone. My eyes are open but it's like I'm down in that cave as a kid again unable to see and hearing huge things moving around me. I start screaming for help and hearing screams all around me. I pick out Beldon screaming and it's close so I feel my way around the ground yelling for him to help me. I can hear him being dragged away and he's yelling that the plants were grabbing him. I manage to get close and try to pull him free, but I can't see and the vines and branches are moving under my hands. I pull out my sword and just like it always does it calms me down and makes me remember that i'm a badass. Beldon tells me where to cut but then starts screaming even louder. Behind me I hear horses stampeding and brimstone and feel flames all around me but I just keep cutting. I feel the flames get closer but I keep chopping until Beldon gets a hand free enough to manage a spell. My vision clears and I see the plants already growing up around him again. I look behind me and there's only 1 horse left, but it's some sort of demon horse with flames shooting out around it. It's got its back turned to me like it's already running away but I chase it down and really let loose with my sword. Everything is going black again, but I put some extra magic power into the blade and it cuts the horse down. My vision clears but the horse just explodes into chunks all around the camp and those burning chunks just turn into more horses and I see you all there and we're all yelling to run but immediately lose each other when we start getting chased.
