In the recent past a bad event forced some tribal bands of these stone-working Giant-kin people from their former homes in the far southern glacial ridges to the hills bordering the [[Omatachi Village]] region. While they maintain their own settlements and lands, Goliaths frequent the village several times each season and enjoy a good relationship with the traders and crafters of the village.
