Occurred perhaps one hundred and fifty years before Alexandrian times. The half-elven and human populations of the Sidhe realm revolted against centuries of second class citizenship. The revolt was swift and well planned. Most of the elven royal family was slaughtered, leaving only a second uncle, his infant daughter Marwynn, and the new king's disinherited older brother as direct ties to the royal's demi-pantheon bloodline. Those survivors that could flee the carnage became the first settlers of Sidhe-Praxen: translated variously as "the refuge," "godsland" or "the kingdom in exile".
The Sea of Widows is named for this event.
