In ancient times, the Wolfen-Khan were halfling military leaders elevated by the Dog-Khans during times of great conflict. The last Wolfen-Khan fell during a long war with the young republican government of the Ubrekti Empire, paving the way for the assimilation of halflings into the fringe of Imperial society.
