Appearance

Dugud is a large and heavily muscled Dwarf with unkempt hair and slightly deranged look to their eyes. A large scar is visible from above one eye to behind the ear. Their heavy armor, clothing, and tools are all of high quality and well-maintained.

Background

Dugud is a trained crafter/artificer from a long line of them and was expected by all to work with the local crafting guild for life until experiencing a head injury and profound religious awakening with claims to have learned new powers from visions of a Paragon ancestor. Once Dugud was medically cleared to do so they left home to join the Church but pretty much immediately chafed under the extremely regimented life of the Gildenhome Alexandrian Church.

Hooks

Probably too weird now even for the other Dwarven artificers and too rude/unwilling to follow orders/semi-heretical for the main Church.

Best suited for scavenger/explorer/treasure hunting campaigns as they would require wealth for their projects and like any artificer there are always more ideas for projects than time and money. Hopes to return to home one day once they truly master their new crafting powers.

While a sincere and mostly orthodox Eastern Alexandrian, Dugud's own mystical visions and powers make them more sympathetic and willing to work with other outcasts/heretics/weirdos.
