Team Alfa Sixth Session
Notes
The team drags the owlbear back to Handlestat and Quyhn goes to meet her uncle. They return with four porters and Quyhn hands out the split of profits. Her uncle Thanh recommends going to the market on the north side of the lake and spreading word of their achievements. He, in the mean time, will be taking care of the owlbear which turns out to be female.
The next day the party takes a boat across the crater lake to Elysium. The party manages to track down Grannet in the marketplace and sell him the ears. He offers them a special friends discount. A bit of shopping is done around the marketplace and the party spends a few days spreading their story and investigating the town. Gorra talks to the Travellers and checks out the local dwarven district. Wolf strikes out to find the followers of the Green in the wilderness. Qyunh, Thola, and Cinder hang out in the casino and public houses getting no small number of free rounds.
Gorra comes back with stories that a mining settlement has been established in the Ulan south of Handlestat that is reportedly mining for mithril. Wolf reports the same settlement and that it likely has something to do with the number of roving orc bands that we encountered earlier. The party decides to provision up, including a pack mule, and strike out to investigate this settlement.
Along the road shortly out of town they encounter a man on a bridge who claims the part has something that doesn't belong to them and that a debt is owed. After demonstrating themselves as sufficiently capable the man and his hidden friends stand down, but still demand a debt be paid. Wolf challenges the bounty hunter further and the party is allowed to pass without an exchange of blows.
Later on the road Wolf relates his life story and suggests maybe he should stay away from the area for awhile as someone must have spotted him in town.
