The Dutchy of Wydmoor is a small, somewhat isolated territory formed during the Alexandrian Schism. It is technically a vassal of the Odessan Empire, although the imposing Kalthassian Range and the unruly nature of the Wydmoorans themselves means that the dutchy practices a tremendous deal of autonomy. Wydmoor City is the political, economic, and cultural center of the region, while a pair of medium cities - Turstram and Moyira's Crossing - act as gateways to neighboring states. (Ubrekt and the Free Kingdoms, respectively.)

The "Five Counties" of the region are ruled by the Mead family, underpinned by a handful of notable noble families that operate commercial enterprises or agricultural estates. The region is known primarily for the quality of its orchards and its bogberry wine.
