A cool, stormy, and dangerous Ocean east of Barrier Islands, sometimes still referred to as Tempesta's Grave, Tempesta's Fury, or Tempesta's Wrath after the Demi-Pantheon goddess of storms and curses. Year-round, storms form here that slam into the Barrier Islands off the eastern coast of the mainland, eventually feeding the Stormwall of the Equatorial Ocean, with the most violent of these storms coming in Spring and Summer. The westerly direction of the winds, and the violence of the storms, make Eastward travel acutely perilous.
