I can pull logs if requested. Detarame (talk) 06:00, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- Madrin: [CHECK] Intelligence [+1] [1d20+5 = 10]
- absalom: There are no roads crosssing the valley of the sidhe and there are no settlements. Along the northern coast there are few natural harbors and so the only settlements would be small fishing villages that trade with Estrabule or Onatach.
- absalom: Pirates slavers often raid the villages and take booty and captives.
- absalom: Deeper in the Valley there are many ruined and abandoned cities and settlements, but even humanoid servators avoid the place.
- absalom: The major river of the central mainland runs through the middle of the valley of the sidhe, and is often now choked with silt and dirt.
- absalom: Crossing the river might be a challenge unless you can find a bridge that has somehow survived for the centuries.
- absalom: Onatach is smaller than estrabule and has many abandoned buildings. Maybe 10,000 people live there, down from maybe 40,000 a century ago.
- absalom: Since desettlement and desertification of the Valley of the Sidhe, the economic base of Onatach has been descimated. What was once the major trade city of central Alexia is now a glorified fishing town.
- absalom: About seventy years ago Onatach was ruled by a Pirate Prince who troubled this area for over a decade before finally being overturned by the people of Onatach. It is politically unstable and several factions war with one another for power and influence.
absalom: The second night at sea. . . .
A shooting star crosses the sky. A few seconds later another one shows up. A minute passes and the whole sky starts being covered by a meteor shower. The particles have different colors and sizes, creating some kind of aurora borealis or rainbow with its huge color palette.
Is it an omen of something that is to come or just beautiful scenery?
- Bern the Bastard: Is in my quarter, vomiting, during the meteor shower
- absalom: Captains Log, day five.....
- absalom: A fine, clear day of sailing. Since the meteor shower things were going smoothly.
- absalom: However, despite the fine weather the seas began to roil and churn.
