Handelat: Difference between revisions

Handelat was by treaty a [[Fresia|Fresian]] city, although with a good deal of [[Alexia|Alexian]], [[Flannary|Flannari]], and even [[Gildenhome|Dwarven]] influences. As the gateway to the former Fresian heartland, it was a major center of commerce as well as a well-fortified free city whose distance from the capital of [[Achenveltd]] and the capital ensured little direct control. It was occupied by Gildenhome forces during the [[Calamity]] and eventually the Dwarves razed much of the city to construct their [[Grenrhusk River]] strongholds near the northern mouth of the river.
