In ancient times, the entire basin between the two mountain ranges was a great wetland, within which was the great Halfling Fortress. After the defeat of the [[Wolfen-Khan]] and the assimilation of the Halflings into Ubrekti society, the original inhabitants of the region were driven out and the area drained and made productive. | |||
