Oracular Phalanx

During the Age of Demigods, the Oracular Phalanx were the paladin orders dedicated to locating, training, and protecting children destined to become Oracles for the various Demi-Pantheon and their churches across the mainland. The oracular connection was very intense and demanding but generally burned out at a young age leaving very changed and often disconnected and alienated former Oracles. Many former Oracles who survived to adulthood and were still able to remain functional around people joined the Phalanx.

During the Prophets' War, Arak was able to convert many Oracles to become Dark Oracles on his side and their corrupted paladins were known as the Blackguard.
