Alexandria Omnity's attempt to cleanse the material plane of the Dark Lord's influence by bringing the prime material and shadow planes into congruence. The wisdom and efficacy of the campaign are still subjects of intense debate, debates which are made more contentious by the almost hallucinogenic or contradictory nature of surviving accounts. She was clearly successful in destroying whatever being was represented by "the Dark Lord," the costs were enormous, including her own life.
