The Oath of The Covington Pikeman

The Sword is the symbol of a conquer.  The Club is the tool of a brute. The Crossbow favors the cautious. The Dagger serves a brigand their loot.

The polearm is a vessel for defense. The protector of the weak. It is the shield that kills the unjust.  Grants salvation, those who seek.

The Final Doge commanded. That we hold this pass and keep. To the children of the dark one. We bring justice from it's peak.

Alexia forever shall be my creed and core. The traitors will be remembered. Cowards to ignore.

We pledge to keep our vigil. To not question but obey. To stand beside our brothers. And join them in the fray. We sacrifice, endure tomorrow and a day. So the fires of our republic. Burn bright but not away.
