Red Iron

Red Iron is a magical variant of Iron Ore mined in Iros Forge in the Bloodmane Hills. It is prized for its value in creating weapons and armor with special properties. It can also be known by the names Devilbane, or Dwarfbane. It is considered a supernatural metal with magical properties along with mithreal, adamantine, and star iron.

Mechanics

In 5e, Red Iron weapons count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance. They can be purchased in Wydmoor and probably major Odessan cities. The cost of Red Iron weapons is 250 GP per pound.
