The devout observe a liquid-only fast during the first two days of this festival. The third day of this festival is the Summer Solstice and is often celebrated by a large feast. The final two days involve various friendly competitions, with forms differing by culture. A day of footraces and wrestling competitions might be followed by an evening of poetry or prestidigitation-puppet-theatre contests.
