A symbolic star that is used as a holy symbol. The symbol was not used by Alexandria herself as a standard, but rather was described in the Testimonial of Sterros and adopted by the same. In the earliest days of the Alexandrian Church, it served not only as a symbol for unity and progress, but also as a powerful teaching tool to introduce the survivors of the world to the new religion.

It is an eight-pointed nautical star partially contained within a circle. (like in the upper left corner of this site). To followers of the faith, extra care is given to the inscription of the containing circle--as it comes closer to the qualities of the ideal, so does the symbol itself come closer to representing Alexandria's ideals.

The eight points of the star represent the Eight Makers that founded or created the world. The two colors of the nautical star represent the dual nature of their aspects as the Dark One entered the world, changing it irrevocably despite his imprisonment and banishment. Finally, the blue circle partially containging the star represents both her nature as the Omnity that unites the power of the Eight Makers, but also the veil that separates the physical world from the eternal one.
