The also have a brand mark on their forehead but it is different than the 2 Hurts' contractors the party has previously met. They appear to be serving as the church leader as some sort of penance for their part in having trained the mixed monster forces prior to the [[Gnomish Civil War]]. He suggests that other factions in the town might be willing to entertain offers of help from outsiders.
