===Scouting the camp===
The kobolds have a hierarchy you do not expect
For starters, there is no queen in evidence.
These kobolds however are far more sophisticated than any you have ever seen.
They wear fine clothes of emroidered cotton and silk
Many wear bandoleers with flasks, while others wear a high quality red scale mail

There are four red mailed kobolds, and maybe twice that many with bandoliers. These carry shields and spears, unusual for kobolds

A few other kobolds appear to be high status enough to boss around the mailed kobolds, and the bandoleirs kobolds both

in your time there you never see the kobolds interact with the ogres, so it's impossible to determin hierarchy there

The brain ogre for sure is the leader of the ogres though

The kobolds do not seem to have a leader

We return to Monstertown.
