	~~Over 50 years ago through some sort~~ of ~~planar shenanigans a people from a nearby wilder,~~ more ~~magical, dimension came~~ to ~~inhabit~~ the wilds near the [[Omatachi Village]] region. These people have a peaceful but mostly private existence away from the Omatachi with the exception of a twice yearly delegation who come to trade (mostly magical plants or trade goods made from such) and perform any other diplomatic needs. They speak Giant and their own language which is a dialect of Elvish though it is extremely unlikely any PC or NPC would ever know enough of them to make the connection.		Somewhere within the last century or so, the realms of the Faewild began to come into alignment with the prime material every more frequently. These points of convergence are always in the wildest and most remote areas of the world.

			The Firbolg - another group of Giant-kin - shortly after began to be seen in the wilds near the [[Omatachi Village]] region.
