Powerful currents, sharp rocky shores, and shallow waters make passage between or even near the islands nearly impossible except for the [[Nedrik Sound]] to the north.

			Following the [[Hakan Civil War]] some very naughty gnomes were declared Breakers and exiled to the Breaker Islands.
